City Taxes will be collected by Boyle County Sheriff’s Office

Dear Citizens,

We want to inform you that we have entered into a contract with the Boyle County Sheriff to collect property taxes for the City of Perryville. This contract is for one year and will be reviewed annually.

As a result of this partnership, both city and county taxes will be combined into one tax bill, which can be paid with a single payment at the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office is open full-time, which offers more time during the week to pay your bill than at our part-time clerk’s office.

Please be assured this action will not increase our tax rates, and our city will remain in full control of those rates. We are committed to keeping taxes reasonable for our citizens. We monitor our budget monthly and continue to look for opportunities to decrease the cost of services whenever possible without decreasing the quality or quantity of those services.
